I recently spent an afternoon with Arthur and his family, in our Lane Cove photo studio. With his scrunched-up nose, cheeky smile and a very smart and cute cake smash outfit, Arthur was pure magic to photograph. From spoonfuls of birthday cake to candid kisses and cheeky eye contact, every moment was a little treasure.

How We Made It Happen
Studio-based comfort. In our Lane Cove studio we had all the props and lighting on hand and a heater to keep Arthur warm for his cake smash.
Playful portraits. Balloons, bubbles, and cuddles created natural smiles and genuine expressions.
Emotional moments. Soft glances between parent and child, cheek kisses, and the enveloping warmth of family connection.
Birthday celebration finale. A fun cake-smash moment—complete with frosting, a bubble bath and laughter.
This cake was so dense and heavy that it was quite difficult to smash!! Even the toddler stepping all over it hardly did any damage!!
