Relaxed Newborn and Sibling Photography in Lane Cove
Meeting little Mr A and his beautiful family for newborn and sibling photography at our warm and cosy Lane Cove studio was was such a joy. Just three weeks old at the time of our session, he was already such a calm and content little soul — happy to be snuggled close and drifting in and out of sleep.
3 weeks - so precious!!
But what made this session extra special was seeing his proud big brother by his side. At just two years old, he was full of energy and curiosity — bursting with love for his new sibling, and occasionally bursting into the frame to cuddle, inspect or "help" during the shoot in his own playful way.
Brotherly love
We embraced the beautiful chaos that comes with toddler-and-newborn life. While Mum and Dad gently soothed baby Mr A, we found fun ways to keep big brother entertained, involving him in the session when he wanted to join, and letting him play nearby when he needed space. The result? A heartfelt mix of portraits — serene newborn moments, fun family cuddles, and spontaneous giggles captured in between.

One of my favourite moments was when big brother reached over to softly pat his baby’s head, then grinned proudly as if to say, "I’ve got this." These are the moments that can’t be staged — just genuine, unscripted slices of real family life.

We kept the whole session baby- and toddler-led — unhurried, relaxed, and full of heart. It was such an honour to document this next chapter for their growing family.
