Fresh from a sun-soaked Gold Coast holiday, this lovely family of seven embraced an impromptu portrait session in my Lane Cove studio when Sydney’s weather took an unexpected turn. They brought with them boundless energy, humour, and a few unconventional props—like a three-year-old who insisted on talking about bins—but soon transformed the indoor space into a stage filled with laughter, connection, and pure family magic.
We started indoors under soft studio lights—snuggles, tickles, cosy couch moments. Once everyone settled, and the rain drizzled outside, we ventured into the adjacent outdoor nook, where natural light and greenery breathed life into candid shots of the children exploring and playing.
